The tungsten carbide cutter has greater edge retention when compared to a steel cutter and can be used for material removal, shaping and smoothing on hard materials.

The cutter can be used on the following materials:

• Hardened and stainless steel
• Cast iron
• Non-ferrous metals
• Fired ceramic
• Wood
• Plastic

When shaping material, remove small amounts, instead of large chucks. This will increase the life of the cutter and apply less load on the rotary tool.
